Harvard GSD Informal Robotics 2017

Rab•bot

Rab•bot is a hopping lagomorphic robot that mimics the core behavior of the small prey animal it is inspired by — its design informed by careful observation of the morphology and movement unique to the species.

As a prey animal, its dominant behavior is fleeing danger: Rab•bot hops into action when an infrared sensor mounted on its posterior is triggered.
